Interesting, that one of the biggest decriers of Moonlight is turning out to be nearly a fan. Matt Roush has said he's been enjoying Moonlight more and more, since "Fever." He talks about Moonlight and the strike, and the possibilities of the show returning next season. It's a good Q&A!

Bless his heart, he Still cannot give a compliment without throwing a barb in, "nobody is up to sharing screen with O'Loughlin yet". At least he likes Alex O'Loughlin now.

Matt Roush makes me crazy because I really respect his opinion, and I'm hoping we can win him over. "Improving expontentially since Fever" is a step in the right direction. Funny he hasn't given any compliments to Jason Dohring, I think Jason really stands out.

Curious that Fox may be putting Bones returns up against Moonlight reruns, assuming CBS doesn't shuffle things around when they run out of new episodes. We all know who's in it. A TV faceoff?

Well, I spent the early part of the season clicking back and forth between Bones and NCIS following both and NCIS finally won me. I'll watch Moonlight over pretty much anything else on TV. The one excetion might be my Colts in a big game, then I'd have to run to CBS.com to see ML. But that's not likely to happen because most of their games are on CBS.

I think Matt's shortchanging Sonya and he's not paying enough attention if he's calling Beth Sarah. As connected as Beth is to Mick, I would have liked to have seen her more clued into the fact that Mick was realy freaked out to see Morgan. Would a "Mick, what's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost." have been too cliche?

Thanks so much for the link. It feels encouraging. I can't belive he doesn't think Beth and Joseph can keep up. Bad man!! But he likes Alex and says the show is getting better, and i know lots of people listen to him. Good man!! Lets hope every little bit helps. Honestly, though, they have done so little marketing of this show, compared to others, its sucess should say something. Imagine if they really marketed it.

I like that he's showing the Alex-love. Its good to know that he is willing to set aside his first opinion and gave the show another chance...and readily admits that he's enjoying it.

I hope he's right about CBS taking a cue from their faux pas with Jericho, and will think long and hard about cutting Moonlight loose if the strike wears on. *crosses fingers*

Funny, this is the one and only show I am truly and absurdly worried about from this strike thing. I guess its a testiment to the actors and writers that they have created such an affinity in me for this show, that I am becoming active in keeping up with allthings Strike related.

Oh, man, I completely overlooked he called Beth Sarah. Maybe he was trying to remember "Sophia"? I am totally clueless what he thinks is wooden about Sophia's portrayal, maybe he doesn't like Beth's personality?

I love what she does, and I can't WAIT to see how she deals with Coraline, if in fact she does anything. Something should kick in, though, after seeing those promo pics...

To be honest with you, I think we, as the Moonlight Fans, have been their marketers. Simply stated, they could not have paid anyone, any amount of money to do the kind of marketing- (grass-roots that it may be)that we all have been doing all over the internet to promote this wonderful show.I should know. I had worked in marketing for years. Really, they are getting us at a bargain price.Enough said.

But I don't think she has fully come to appreciate how much self-loathing Mick is doing. He seems to be eternally "cool" to her, while he runs around thinking that he is a danger to Beth no matter how much he loves her. He does not want to do to Beth what was done to him by Coraline.

Beth- Tell Joshy Bye Bye and play with the Bad Boyz. You know they are more fun.
I think Beth is going to keep asking to be turned until someone other than Mick does it. Why else would she stare at the mirror (remembering the words "in a few years when he stops coming around" no doubt) and put her little vile of Vampitude in her drawer?

The series will be back. It will kill me to have to dust off the Videotape to be able to watch Bones, but nothing will make me miss MICKBETH.

Hooray! I was going to post this but saw it was already here. So nice to hear Matt say that he's been enjoying Moonlight more and more each week. Sounds like he got pretty interested around the time I got obsessed (Fever), although I was hooked by ep 2. I also love how he says you don't have to justify liking any TV show. I remember wanting to write to him about Moonlight and feeling like I would have to do just that. But I'm way beyond guilty pleasure, no guilty feelings here!

Yeah, Matt is one of the few critics out there whose opinion I actually trust. Robert Bianco I do not like at all. So I am glad that Matt is coming around. He is one of the best allies to have on your side.
